This article first analyses the international consequences of the bipolar system collapse in the aftermath of the fall of the Berlin Wall. It then deals with post-Cold War changes, when new actors, new threats and new conflicts emerged; when Germany, Europe and the transatlantic relation were renewed ; when the green revolution happened and preserving the ecosystem became a major issue. It finally examines the new world and the new system of international relations. These changes do not hinder the stability of structural factors, States’ roles, demographic pressure, maintaining armament policies and the North-South divide.
