The Kivu’s endless war. The limits of peace diplomacy

Despite a lot of attention from the media, and humanitarian and diplomatic communities, the long conflict that has started more than ten years ago in the Kivu (Democratic Republic of Congo) is still going on and making a lot of victims among the civilians. By highlighting the limits of the current peace diplomacy, this article tries to explain the duration of this conflict that once again shows how the warlords manage to impose their will upon the international community and not the reverse.
